I'd love to hear why this isn't criminal, for every one of the cocksucking bastards present.

What a clusterfrack.
Those of us without recourse would appreciate it if officers like you would publicly call out the substandard officers at work. We do not have luxury. We are labeled whiny or criminal. Our only effective response is to avoid and mistrust all officers until we personally know better.Ok, as an insider I wouldn't have done that. Now let me explain why...
If there is one thing that I valued above all else was my integrity. This (in my opinion) requires the absence of ego, my personal opinions, beliefs, pride and feelings. As a human being tasked with policing our own, I felt that this undertaking was the most humble job on the Planet (if done properly). The requirements (again, my opinion) are courage, integrity and kindness, mixed with the willingness to fight and hurt people, take someone's life if necessary, or even die to protect our Constitution and American Citizens.
If that were me, I would have dragged her skinny ass away from that ant mound (if I even noticed it in the chaotic moment) and continued getting her secured in cuffs. She is of no significance to me. She cannot make me angry, bruise my ego, or anything else. She is simply a person, who at the time is not behaving and is going to jail one way or other.
If it was this Officer's intent to "punish" her, he's in the wrong business and does not belong there. If he did not notice the ants or this was some 250 pound bruiser who couldn't be dragged 5 feet away, the ant bites are on him and I would probably laugh to be honest.
The point being, that there are approximately 700,000 sworn Police Officers nation wide. Take more than half of those away (Administrators, Detectives, etc...) and you're left with 350,000 who actually respond to calls and police our 330 million Citizens (who knows how many more if you factor in Illegals)
So 350,000 cops are answering around 62 million calls per year or 170,000 calls per day nationwide. How many of these calls represent horrible behavior by the Police? Less than one half of one percent. That's extremely low and includes some of the bozos and non-hackers (I've worked with a few) who somehow got a gun and badge.
If you look at it from a purely mathematical perspective, there is not a systemic problem with the Police here. It's a few idiots, ego driven pansies, cowards, liars, thiefs, bigots and general jackasses who tarnish this Occupation for the rest of us.
That is all.
I'd love to hear why this isn't criminal, for every one of the cocksucking bastards present.
You said a lot, and none of it really applies. There are only a few people calling for anarchy, and that's ridiculous, nobody actually wants that, even if they think they do. I don't judge a group based on the actions of individuals. The problem is that there are too many bad individuals in blue. It's happening way too often. I don't care when they shoot an idiot for resisting, I don't care when they get a little rough with someone who won't follow directions, I don't care if they shoot someone who whips their hand at them in the dark and a reasonable person can understand how someone could feel threatened. However, holding a handcuffed soccer mom facedown in an anthill while she screams is the behavior that should lead to a pile of corpses. That's blatant, it's vicious, it shows complete disregard for decency. They should all be publicly fired and charged. At a minimum the arresting officer should have had his ass beat by his own co-workers. Buuuut... none of that will happen. The taxpayers will pay the multi-million dollar payout, and those assholes will be further emboldened, since they publicly tortured this woman, (this was a real torture technique used by native savages), and nothing will be done about it. If they won't regulate their own, and the law won't protect people from the sub par humans you can hire for $3/ hour more than minimum wage, then sooner than later people will start settling those scores on their own, and so be it. That badge is nothing, it makes you the king's man, but you're just a man like any other.Ok, as an insider I wouldn't have done that. Now let me explain why...

We do, and we have. Some of us that is. I do not disagree with you and fully understand the mistrust that I tried so hard to gain. Mine was only a very small portion of the population as a whole. But I can tell you that my community (and I worked in a crime infested cesspool) trusted me even though I was a different color and had a badge. I had to earn that and it took many years, but when I retired, there are a ton of houses that I can still go to in the hood for Christmas or Thanksgiving that would make me a plate of food when I was working that day. Those of us without recourse would appreciate it if officers like you would publicly call out the substandard officers at work. I don't understand how what I wrote in any way makes you feel that I disagree. It is slowly changing, some for the better, some for the worse. I do feel they need to be held accountable if they commit and intentional violation or an accidental one because they are too stupid to be able to think quickly and handle this job. They need to go. And come need to go to prison. Period. While I completely agree with your statistics and conclusion, there is one HUGE point you are overlooking
Pretty much everybody can understand that there are some bad people in any group and that bad things happen.
HOWEVER when there is a Bad police officer or LE or Jail guards etc, that does bad things to a citizen and harms them and brutalizes or murders them or otherwise violates their civil rights, what the common public sees is the rest of the police officers and their unions and their bosses locking ranks and all lining up to protect them and make sure they are not punished and treat them with kid gloves.
You practically have to burn a city down it seems to get criminal charges to stick when LE go bad, or at least that's what it seems like.
Many times you see on video some LE doing very bad things and all of their partners and buddies just sitting around watching or even protecting and helping them get in on it.
Most of the time there is some "settlement" which does NOT come from the offender or the department, but instead comes from the very same citizens who were harmed and their neighbours and the public is not allowed to "fire" the people they supposedly pay and employ.
Some Police and some departments get away with huge amounts of evil sometimes and most of the time get a simple that was naughty please don't do that again note from "justice".
If those police / LE / Guards etc, were promptly removed from their positions, named like any other citizen would be, and prosecuted to the full extent of the law promptly and denied future employment, things would change quickly and perceptions of the public would change quickly.
That lack of visible, prompt equal justice being done is what tarnishes the image of all the rest of the many good and decent people in LE.
It's the way it is, fair or not.
Much like everyone being angry at muslims because of a small group of terrorists
Or the news media vilifying gun owners because of the rare insane left wing tranny mass murderer.
Or the vilifying of "white men" because 100+ years ago like 0.1% of them in this country owned slaves.
If the fines came out of their pension account you would see an immediate decline in these kind of altercations…….You said a lot, and none of it really applies. PSA: Epsom Salt is the only remedy I have found to ease fire ant bites. Believe W54XM338, uses this one, hope he doesn’t mind me using it here, the “useless coat hangers“ are the officers standing in the background not reacting to the over use of force from the brother blue. They know it is wrong and fail to take appropriate corrective action in a timely manner.
I do not disagree with you at all (save the pile of corpses part). That strikes me as you yourself being willing to do the very thing you are aghast about. However, I was not just a man like any other, I was a Police Officer. That, in reality makes me less than you. I was held to higher standard than you and justifiably so. I myself wouldn't call the cops in a situation I could handle myself. Many do. They will weaponize us against a neighbor they don't like and call so we'll show up and basically take away their peace by just by being there, while the neighbor is looking out the window laughing their ass off.You said a lot, and none of it really applies. As a Florida Native, I've encountered fire ants on the regular. After awhile, you actually get used to them, at least I have. I just brush them off and move on. I have had to drop trousers in front of others when they don't bite until their way up inside your pants when the ant commander gives the signal to attack.Depending on the ant and if it's right away and the person, often a 9V battery works wonders for helping with insect bites.
You claim integrity yet state that your goal would have been to take a woman to jail for making a wrong turn.Ok, as an insider I wouldn't have done that. Now let me explain why...

You can say whatever you want. That is your right, and I would defend it if necessary. But eliminating consequences from people's actions is something I do not abide. That is my opinion, and it is also my right to say it now that I am a citizen/civilian just like you.You claim integrity yet state that your goal would have been to take a woman to jail for making a wrong turn.
You'll have to excuse those of us who find one of those statements contradictory with the other.
Oh that part's pretty simple.I still have not figured out how they communicate like that to suddenly start biting in unison.
You should of demanded an ambulance and there would have been a feeding frenzy of good lawyers suing everyone.Story time.
At around 21 I was walking out of a mega-bar in NY... a huge place with 57 bars and scantily clad women swinging from the ceilings. As I walk out, I see two roided out meatballs cursing at each other outside. I was excited to end my night by watching these trenbolone munching gladiators beat each other to a pulp, so I settled in for the show at a safe distance.
Out of the corner of my eye I see a third meatball monster perform the most spectacular superman punch I've ever seen. It was absolutely glorious... like a scene straight out of the movie 300. It completely obliterated the guy on the receiving end and frankly, the guy just wasn't waking up.
Within seconds, one of the bouncers charges me like a raging bull, pummels the living shit out of me and bear hugs me face down in half frozen puddle on the pavement until half of the Nassau county police department arrives. I'm placed in cuffs and positioned upright on my ass in the middle of the puddle as the bouncer talks with the police, points to me (all 140lbs soaking wet) and proclaims that I was the one who knocked out the shredded 220+lb meatball. Other spectators interject and they're brushed aside as I try to scoot my ass out of the puddle. The police scream at me to sit back down smack in the middle of six inches of frozen water. This is the only puddle in a 20 foot radius, mind you.
Luckily, the guy who got knocked out woke up as the stretcher was being placed into the ambulance. I watched him talk to the cops who pointed at me before turning back to look at them like they were a bunch of window licking retards. His look of disgust at the idea that a little shit like me could've caused his injuries was bittersweet....
Cops come back over to me with an EMT to take a cursory glance at my bruises and what turned out to be a broken rib, then tell me to "get the fuck out of here."
I'd have taken fire ants over a broken rib in a heartbeat. To rub salt in the wound, they call me back, take my ID and give it to the bouncer that beat the piss out of me so that the classy establishment could issue a nonrevocable lifetime ban on me.
That was almost 20 years ago and I still throw up prayers that the bouncers and police involved die a horrific death from some sort of penis eating parasite.
Yeah, I'm petty like that.
Thank you sir for educating me on this. I've been attacked by those damned things my whole life because my generation played outside and as an old fart now, I have a garden, so I'm still outside. They are everywhere in Florida, so I just roll with it like the alligators screwing with my lure when I'm Bass fishing.Oh that part's pretty simple.
Fire ants secrete pheromones and chemicals they use to communicate, by provoking or indicating basic response triggers. If they find good food, for example, their little ant brain makes their body send out a pheromone signal that other ants pick up on and they can follow the scent-trail left by that ant to the food.
One particular chemical is an alert trigger. The ants are already alerted and in attack mode by the time they get on you, so when one starts to bite, it lets out more chemicals to say "ATTACKING!" And it just goes from there to the nearest ants and they bite and send out the signal to the next nearest ants and so on and so on, it just spreads outward until they're all biting and because it happens so fast it seems like they do it in unison.
Hindsight is 20/20. I was drunk, had icicles forming on my short and curlies and it hurt to breath, much less move. I also had a high deductible health insurance plan and just blew my last $50 on well scotch and malibu bay breezes for a bombshell blonde in a little blue dress. I wanted to make sure she got home safe. You should of demanded an ambulance and there would have been a feeding frenzy of good lawyers suing everyone.

I have said what I want. Furthermore men far better than you have told me what my rights are.You can say whatever you want. That is your right, and I would defend it if necessary. But eliminating consequences from people's actions is something I do not abide. That is my opinion, and it is also my right to say it now that I am a citizen/civilian just like you.
It's an 18sec total video from 2021, so it's obviously only one very small part of what happened. They basically had to run her off the road because she was going the wrong way and the officer felt she was driving erratic enough he thought she might hit children present.
As far as the actual arrest, having someone on the ground and being ants there isn't common, but it does happen from time to time. Anytime I've seen it, it's not very apparent.....meaning it's not obvious to the LE performing the arrest. And once it is actually identified by the LEO/s, the subject obviously shouldn't be held down on the ants purposely.
And it should be pretty obvious from the countless videos, most of the time when a subject is claiming something while being arrested its rarely actually true. People yell all kinds of things ranging from "I'm not resisting" to "ants" and any other thing you can possibly imagine. So, not taking her word for it immediately isn't incredibly surprising.
Now, all that being said, if there is evidence (not just some 18 second video) the officers definitely knew she was being bitten and the purposely kept her there....that's obviously not ok and there needs to be some serious punishment. But, anyone who's ever put your hand or kneed into an ant hill knows it doesn't take long for a lot of ants to get on you and start biting.
So, if they went out of their way to hold her down in the ants, they need to not be doing the job and should face criminal/civil penalties. However, nothing in that video is enough to say they did or didn't do this on purpose. And on the other side of the coin, if they kept her down long enough to get her under control, and then got her away from the ants (just her yelling ants isn't a reason to let her up until they have her secured), then it's just going to be a case of terrible luck where she happened to land when they took her down to gain control of her.
Sorry boss, it doesn't work that way with fire ants. Just dragging her out of a fire ant den before getting the dangerous prisoner 'secured in cuffs' is just the start of it.Ok, as an insider I wouldn't have done that. Now let me explain why...
If that were me, I would have dragged her skinny ass away from that ant mound (if I even noticed it in the chaotic moment) and continued getting her secured in cuffs...
Are they for hire?! I’ve got an ex wife
Yes I did issue DUI's to fellow LE. I have also called citizens an Uber on my own dime in lieu of taking them to jail. I also did not arrest every person who committed a crime because I had the discretion to weigh the situation out.Did you issue DUIs to your fellow blue costume guys, or just the one's not wearing the blue?
The issues go way beyond your simple statistics.
For example:
I had three acts of crime committed against me in the last year. Two were felony acts. On the last one, I did the research and found the criminals, the theft ring, addresses and turned it all over to the local LE. In return, I see them out writing tickets for people doing 10 over. Their do nothing attitude is probably going to turn me into a criminal!
I see them pulling people over in rush hour, far exceeding the danger of the speeder, by the back-up they cause.
I see them parking in locations I could never park, not for police business.
I watch them go into the convenience store and get their free coffee and soda. Yes, the store offers it, but that is called a bribe.
I watch endless crime happing in my city, but the only crime they solve is speeding at the beginning and end of the month only.
I watched them write tickets to my fellow buisness men, for the crime of not having mask signs up during Covid, in addition to all the other bullshit I witnessed.
I watch them leave the bar after two, three, sometimes four drinks.
I watch them do the stare down contest with everyone, including myself.
I watch them pass the hazards on the road, including literally serving to miss the obstacle.
I watch them pile on to simple calls. 10-20 of them to make one arrest, or to secure an area after the crime is committed.
I watch them use what is partially my vehicle, my clothes, and probably my gas to bury their fallen LEOs.
I watch them parade their military gear, with their military haircuts, and military attitudes as though they are "the shit".
I would keep going on with a book of lower class actions, but there are always excuses or reasons for it all. They are not heros, they are not here to serve, they are not moral men, they are a protected class. They are only one of few legal gangs in this country.
It is far more than a few bad apples or the simple numbers you post. The mindset and moral compass of these men is defunct of everything they should be standing for. I look at them all with disgust, which is a far cry from my childhood. I consider them all on the same scale as the people they arrest. I think they are all lower class people, they are really just arresting and harassing their own kind. My only interaction with them is getting the forms to collect insurance claims. I promise, my moral compass far exceeds any LE I have ever met or known, and I am put a mere normal person. I would trust most men on this forum way more than any LEO today.
The worst part of all this, is that we have to post these words and topics on a public forum for all to read.
The only good thing the democrat and left leaning party is doing in this country is exposing LE for what they are, as our side has to "back the blue". Sorry, I'm outside that mold!
