There is more square footage of reflective surfaces on a major highway near a major city like NY,LA during rush hour than all the panels added together.I’m skeptical when it comes to weather conditions, taking into consideration the popularity of glass building being built starting in the 1970s and forward, lots of reflecting materials in use today.
Claiming to be a rocket scientist or engineer online. Is kin to the kids who had hot girlfriends in another town. No one ever saw or met.Appeal to authority is one of the most common logical fallacies. And, being a rocket scientist doesn’t mean bupkis about meteorology…
Solar panels absorb sunlight to generate power. There is less reflected heat than a standard house roof.
15-20%, most will claim 21-23%, but that is in the very best conditions. In the context of solar farms- solar is so inefficient it's categorized as at least half queer and fully vaxxed.
Cow farts say otherwise!!!!!Even if solar panels do reflect the amount of energy that the guy states without actual technical specs, all of the entire world's solar panels COMBINED onto one field in the Midwest would not be enough to affect weather patterns or anything else in nature to a discernable degree.
We have a long way to go before we have the ability to actually harness or alter all of nature's power. Our NUKES that we have been setting off since the 1940s, up to and including the Tsar Bomba, does not have lasting effects on the environment. Meanwhile, a single tornadic supercell thunderstorm in Oklahoma produces the energy of 1000 Hiroshima sized bombs per minute. So saying that solar panels reflect enough heat to alter weather would be the same as saying that sailing ships in the 1600s have somewhat changed wind patterns on the Earth due to the proliferation of sails being used. The opposing scales involved here are so enormous that it is impossible to even compute the effects one has on the other. Completely and utterly negligible.
