For sale is a 2018 (originally bought in 2020 from Mile High Shooting) Accuracy International AX Short Action in Dark Earth
The rifle is in like-new condition with no cosmetic defects. The barrel is chambered in 6mm Creedmoor and is 24" in length. It is a Bartlein barrel finished by Win Tactical and bought directly from Mile High Shooting. It has had exactly 356 rounds through it which besides 20 that were Berger 105 factory ammo the rest have been handloads that were loaded to a velocity node at 2900fps which is lower than the average handloads for 6mm Creedmoor. With the slower velocity I was able to push the 105 Bergers at the barrel still has a tremendous amount of barrel life especially when compared to the fact that most 6mm Creedmoor hand loads are pushed at about 3050-3100fps. The handguard is unique in that it has a 16" AI 20 MOA Picatinny rail mounted to the top of the Victor handguard which allows for seamless use of night vision clip-on devices in front of the optic. Has been used in the past with PVS-30s and worked flawlessly (This is not a factory option from Victor Company but extremely useful). The AI Picatinny rail and handguard were Cerakoted to match the Dark earth of the Rifle.
