One piece mount. I mounted a scope in it, went only finger tight on the wheels, and then removed it. Was never fired or torqued at the crossbolts. I ended up going with something that allowed me to run a PEQ on top instead, otherwise, this would still be my choice. Awesome Mount. Single screw 55 inch lb rings mean no goofing around trying to keep the scope from moving while mounting. Includes built in bubble level. This and Spuhr are probably the most popular and highly rated precision mounts out there right now.
