I thought I was going to do some competing with this rifle at a local 1000 yard range, but it's been in the safe for 3 years; at the range once and fired a dozen rounds.
The builder has recently passed away and I've forgotten the details of this rifle. I do know that he was a very successful long range elk hunter that built all of his rigs. I don't even really know what it's worth because he built it for me in trade; I've only been able find GB and BR.com prices and they seem to be all over the place.
Here is what I do know:
The trigger pull is around 3oz
Lawton 7500 action, this is apparently one of the better ones
29" barrel
Scope and rings not included unless you really, really want it. It sells with the rifle or I keep it....N/F 12-42x56
The powder is unopened however the proj's were and about 2 doz Norma brass.

What is the BTO measurement on the loaded rounds?

It'll give you prospective buyers an idea of what the free bore is...(SAAMI or Custom reamer)

It looks like the neck is .336".
SAAMI neck is ~.340 to. 345, so it looks like you'll have to turn the neck on any new brass.

Sorry it took me too long to reply today, I was out shooting MG's
*I just got the rifle on the scale and with the scope, it's 17 pounds.
*As far as accuracy, I was easily getting dime sized groups @100 but I AM NOT a benchrest shooter so don't take my groups as this rifle's potential.
*I didn't know what BTO was so google was my friend and told me 'base to ogive"; I don't think I have an accurate way to measure that with a loaded cartridge, unless I'm missing something. I did measure OAL @ 3.170 with a case length of 2.100.

Guys and gals, after shooting for ~ 40 years, I love my SCAR 17, I love my .500 S/W mag and I love my Browning 425 12gaO/U; this is a beautiful rifle that will shoot considerably better than I do, I just don't have the interest that most of you do, I respect that and thats why I hang/lurk here sometimes.

Also, I did just place a deposit on a Srebu BFG 50A and I'm trying to make room in the safe and free up some cash.....stay tuned; AIAE .308 with S/B 3-12X50 for sale soon.

Stay safe, watch six.

With a 3.170" COAL
I got a 2.504" BTO...

Are you sure there COAL is 3.170" with the 210 Berger VLDs?

When you load a loaded round into the chamber, are there light rifling marks on the bullet?
Thanks

I measured a few more and got some variations, probably because the ammo in the ammo block has been moved around a bit and I may have even stacked some stuff on it over the past few years that it's been sitting. I'm sure it'll get you on paper. This ammo was given to me with the rifle and as I said, I only put about a dozen down the tube.
