SPF - I bought this Sako style McMillan Varmint stock off the px with great intentions. It was a Tac Ops trade-in, bedded for a Rem 700, with bdl. I opened up the recoil lug recess and ejection port for my Origin. After having not loving how the internal mag box seemed loose, I somewhat grounded out the old bedding and re-bedded it for my Origin. As you can see in the pics, I either did not remove enough of the old bedding or didn't use enough bedding material, as there are areas in the bedding, especially the pad around the front pillar, that show the action is sitting a touch high. It was certainly functional but I meant to grind it all out properly for a re-bed buttttt.... haven't. Other details include the following: M24 channel, embedded Anschutz rail, Accu-shot BT28 and sling stud, rear stud, Tac Ops texturing on grip and forend. It will ship doubled boxed to include the pictured McMillan box (internal box). The last two pics show how it looked with the Origin but of course, only the Varmint stock is included.
