Bought years ago for an RRA .223 Wylde upper I no longer own. Used it for coyote hunting for a few years, but sold the upper to find another project and switched back to a bolt gun. This is a great optic for the factory ammo user. Spot on with Hornady 55gr VMax factory ammo. At known distances, just twist the elevation dial to the displayed range and pull the trigger. Used out to 500yds with reasonable success. Has been collecting dust in my safe since I sold that upper, and I’ve since started reloading and would rather use a better reticle system on any .223 in the future. Will make a great optic for a .223 bolt gun or AR if you shoot factory ammo. Maybe for your kids starter gun? Stupid simple and very user friendly.
NOTE - there is a small dent/finish issue on the front of the main tube body. Coming out of a coyote hunt I leaned the rifle against the truck tailgate to pull my gloves off and, of course, it slipped and landed in the gravel directly on top of the scope. I confirmed no zero shift. Used the optic for another year and whacked a bunch more coyotes without a problem. Picture below makes the issue appear worse than it is, but I specifically picked that photo so the buyer wouldn’t be surprised. Optic appears to be mechanically sound.
Comes with the M-223XR Mount (XR version is 20moa version) and the factory honeycomb ARD.
