I’ve had this setup for a few years now and its just not something that gets used enough to justify my original cost.

Very few hours of usage, maybe 50 total and those were spent mainly on impressing my friends and neighbors...

But they are absolutely awesome!!! No spots, no nothing, just clear and flawless. I mean, I know they are all supposed to have a couple little black spots here and there but I have not noticed them.

2-3X optical magnifier turns it into a spectacular pair of binoculars! Plus an IR Laser.

I did a search online in trying to determine a fair price and went to 3 of the most common sites and the cheapest I found with my tubes was $7500 for the unit alone, no extras. Be a good time to mention I have manual gain.

The mags I think I paid $575 for both of them and $200 lasar. Never even used the mags except again, to “see” how they worked lol!

I personally can’t imagine a better set of tubes than I have on mine. At least not what the human eye will be able to tell.

With the extras my setup would cost someone around $8250,.

Somebody messaged me wanting to know if I was using an illuminator for those pictures and the answer is absolutely NOT. I would never do that it’s very misleading.

This is the setting. It’s in a condominium complex and there are very dim street lights (not the typical bright ones you see on the highway) approximately 75 foot to the left and 75 foot to the right. Path lights is a better phrase.

NO DIRECT LIGHT that was already illuminating the area. If you’re sitting in a chair looking at the grassy area without night vision, you can see the grass but it’s very dim and you have just enough light to walk by, very similar to 1/2 moon.

No more light source than anyone would find anywhere at anytime in any low lit urban area.

That said, the reason I chose that area was 2 fold. One it allowed me to show clearly that the tubes had no black spots using the grass as a background while at the same time showing the woods behind the grassy area that is indeed 100% PITCH and you cannot see anything at the wood / grass line with the human eye.
