Sold! TV show on Discovery channel recetly had an episode where they were auctioning guns. Guy had a 50 Cal. bolt action on there. Anybody know what kind it was? And what kind of scope? Scope had a weird turret layout, thought I might have seen my first countersniper in action

Yeah, I saw that too. It did look like a CS scope but it was just a quick shot so hard to say but it did have a white paragraph stenciled onto it. Either way the show is retarded and not worth watching.

The Hesse .50 is the dangerous equivalent of the CS scope. They were so prone to failure that one unfortunate buyer made a lamp out of it because he was afraid to shoot it. It is absolute china junk.
    Here is the picture.

The Mechanic - that is what I suspected and part of why I posted - I figured I would have recognized something if it had been a known and reputable manufacturer. On the episode, they show the cartridge being seated on the face of the bolt outside of the gun, then the whole assembly being fed into the action. Smelled fishy all around. Thanks for info guys.
