there is a tree thats completely white after the bark strips off. but in the different stages its different colors. looks great and talk about a natural camo patern

all i had was a point and shoot so i couldnt really comtrol exposure like i wanted, but you can see the camo pattern. it was a suprise, i have been walking there for 10 years

Don't you boys have to drive like 30 min to get to the nearest anything?

I think the color saturation, contrast, etc. has been photoshopped a bit, but the sycamore tree does grow in Kansas. You'll generally find them along creek bottoms and such places.

Yup thats true - sycamores only grow very near water - so if you see one but its not next to a river / stream you know there is water nearby / underground
