Amber and I hit the range today armed with one of my JP upper builds and some "junk" ammo for some 600 yard shooting.

Good shooting, especially for plinking ammo. Glad to see Amber's wearing a pair of shooting glasses this time.

Yeah...that ammo is not what I would call "match grade" by any means.

But...is you watch this video below...you will see it is still effective at longer range. I was able to put 3 out of 6 rounds on target at 1000 yards with it. And the misses were all within a 3' area.

Nice shooting!

Wish I could talk my old lady into going out more often. She likes shooting but just won't go out enough to build up her trigger pull skills and overcome a bad case of trigger panic. Even happens with the .22LR trainers. If we could get the flinch worked out i think she would have more fun and join me and the 8 year old more often.

Thanks for the video's hopefully it will inspire her to keep trying

That JP Tactical brake seems like it works really well, rifle barely moves.
