Interesting read here, especially for those of you of faith. You can start reading on page 7 since the article at the beginning is unrelated; it's ~50 pages long and it's a pretty easy to get through. Don't know how or why it ended up in CIA's archives, but I don't believe the text is available anywhere else.
Mainstream science tells us that even though humans as a species have existed for the better part of 200,000 years, humans only settled down and created "civilization" ~10,000 years ago. Historians can't explain why every ancient civilization has the same story about a global flood. Geologists can't explain certain, not-so-ancient land formations came to be by any other method than massive waves washing over the land. This book lays out a theory as to why we don't have more evidence of civilization before 10,000 years ago, or, maybe we've just misinterpreted the evidence we do have. There's definitely some thought-provoking stuff in there.
Personally, I think it's more likely some global cataclysm wiped out evidence of prior civilizations than it is that civilization sprang from nothing 10,000 years ago.
