As the saying goes, sometimes the blind chipmunk finds the acorn.
Purchased a "Leupold Mark 4 16x40". Yep, that is what arrived...well...actually a bit better.
Open the box like a 9 year old at 5 am on December 25th.
Roll the scope over...??? L & S Inc? Great. Who is that? This LOOKS like a 16x40 Mark 4 Leupold....but that is not what is on the scope.
Ah...goooooogle....
L & S Inc - Long name for Leupold & Stevens Incorporated.
This scope is a 16x40 M1 Ultra. Has an extra thick tube (yep...it is the thickest tube I have ever seen) AND has an etched glass reticle. Reticle is a duplex, with fine center, and small mil hashes on the fine.
Gunbroker has a 10x Ultra (of course "battle used") listed at 3300 buy it now.
