For those of you who have wanted a suspension system for the Padded Belt, we have developed the SPHHH-CB, or Sniper Padded Hybrid Hydration Harness-Coyote Brown.
It is a hybrid combo of the Sniper Hydration Harness, and the Padded Pistol Belt, featuring the benefits of both, and very easy on your back.
George Gardner was the first to get one at SHOT, and pics are coming up quick.
The pricing is $130.00, and they are currently available only in CB.
This DOES NOT include the PPB, Padded Pistol Belt.

Unfortunately we cannot offer it at the sale price due to custom sewing on the strap portion, and the package is a compilation of 2 parts which have already had the overall price reduced by $20.

We could fabricate the HHH in Multicam or OD, however it would not be instock at this time, and would have to be coordinated.
Ultimately it would cost 20% more for MC.
This was fabbed up in CB in direct response to the guys on the Hide who make it very clear they needed something to support all the weight they were experiencing while wearing the belt solo.

1-Thanks for posting.
2-I don't need to COPY anybodys gear.
3-I did NOT copy anybodys gear.
4-I would like to see pics, as all this gear is a composite of EXISTING SOTECH products that were matched up to make this work.
5-If you ever have a issue with something I am affiliated with, feel free to call me, PM me, or fly to Vegas and talk to me personally, but don't ever accuse me of having no integrity.
6-I know very well who Stu is, and what he contributes to this community, and it is all top end products.

No, this package does not include it, however it can be purchased from SOTECH. The reason it is not included, is because most people who wanted this already had a belt.
Yes, the Hydration Sleeve connects to the padded shoulder harness, and then connects to the belt.
It is the key component in making this work, and creates the Hybrid relation to the Sniper Hydration Harness.

Just got mine ordered!! Phil they said it will ship Monday. I didn't thing you were going to have these ready so soon so I got the Hydration Harness when you had everything on sale.

Just means I will have it all!!!

You will find that both the Hydration Harness and the HHH have their strenghts, and really no weaknesses.
Simply an option for different scenarios.

Why not PM Phil to get the skinny on this gear rather than run your suck? SOTECH makes great gear & copies no one... Redman makes great gear as well... Why the bashing??

Bashing? Nope, I just remember seeing gear that looked very very close to THAT, a year ago. It was still in early stages, perhaps Stu wasn't going to market it? Don't know. Or maybe they had an agreement?

I've got a couple questions regarding the Hybrid vs. SHH, that some of you with more experience in the field may be able to help me with. I'm currently looking to join the TX State Guard and would like to get a load bearing system to carry necessities while on shift....but would like it to double for shooting as well. With that as context, my questions:

1) Will the Hybrid work without the Hydration Bladder? It looks like the straps are connected to the harness component that latch down to the PPB, but I'm not clear if the Hydration Bladder must be connected.

2) What are the real-world advantages of the a) Hybrid over the SHH, or b) the SHH over the Hybrid. The primary one I see is the thinner profile (max 3 layers of molle rows)...but how much difference does this make in operation? I have never worn or seen either.

Here is the breakdown.

SHH is perfect vest for sniper operations.
It has interior pouch for bladder, pouch for maps, tons of MOLLE for lots of kit.
It is however not compatible for carrying a sidearm, and map pouches, due to the fact it comes down to your waist.
This makes it great if your not planning on carrying a pistol, UNLESS you run a dropdown through a riggers belt. The SHH will be in the way.

SPHHH-Sniper Padded Hybrid Hydration Harness is a mix of the hydration sleeve, connected to a shoulder rig, and the comfy padded belt.
I do believe we have a alternate version which DOES NOT include the Hydration Sleeve, but I have not seen it.
It was not promoted due to a typical need for a hydration sleeve.
In summary, the SPHHH has all the best features and compromises with a lack of MOLLE webbing.

Tell you what...I will make a massive exception, and trade you a 8lb Varget for a CB SPHHH...

phil, looks like a great addition to the ppb. i like my ppb but i like it 1000x better when used in conjunction with a stiff riggers belt with the loop side out to mate up with the ppb. imo you ought to sell a riggers belt with loop fastener on the outside in the same window you sell the ppb. the loop fastener really keeps the ppb from sliding around and more importantly reduces bounce.

Ewen,
Although the Hydration Sleeve has PALS webbing on it, I am not sure that it is wide enough for your rifle scabbard.
I am also not sure how your Eberlestock MiniMe attaches to the exterior pack.
One thought would be the get a SHH, Sniper Hydration Harness and then attach a scabbard to the rear of that.

Little bump here, was going to get a SHH, then saw this one aand can't make up my mind - is there any way to get pics of the front and backs of them side by side? What is the current stock status on these?

We are currently sold out, however if you want one, it will be at least 2-3 weeks.

this harness looks great, but it is for direction action? to be worn only with the BDU?
can we wear it with a big bag pack? or with a smock jacket (that have a lot of pockets too)

Same question here. I would like the scabbard also. The mini me has a channel in between the shooter and the pack to where the scabbard goes through and attaches. As to not have the scabbard on the outside of the pack which would be unbalanced and my open to impact. Down side of the Mini Me is it is only a hydration pack, nothing else. I really like the SHHH but would love something like this with it. Is it possible?

Everyone who has seen it, is very pleased with its design, so soon you will see it.
