I've got my old Ruger 77/22 that I put a million rounds through when I was a kid, and thought I'd put a 16 inch threaded barrel on it to mate with a .22 can. I'm seeing plenty of love for 10/22, but I need an affordable (but decent quality) lightweight stainless 16 inch threaded barrel for the 77/22. All I've found so far is Clark Custom, and they start at $250 with a $125 add on for threading. A bit more than I had planned.

Any suggestions? I'm googling like a mad man, but if anybody already knows...

Thanks!

It's true. Not insisting on a Lilja or anything, just basically a Green Mountain or Butler Creek grade threaded, lightweight 16 incher for a 77/22.

Yankee hill does a very nice 77/22 barrel with an integral suppressor in it. But, $700 and a form 4 wait time.

I sent my factory stainless barrel to ADCO Firearms for a chop and thread job. $60, and they even bead blasted it for me.
