Rifle Scopes source for correct sized 6-48 torx for scope base

so...i stripped out an allen head on my rem 700. After being spoiled by Seekins and their mounting hardware....I want to upgrade to some torx screws.

Now...where might I obtain these? I see badger has a kit...but they require trimming, I've had no luck trimming screws/bolts...so that's a no go.

Egw sells them for $5...which I'm fine with....but shipping for 4 small bolts and an l-wrench is over $7! that sucks...since I'm using one of their 20moa rails as well.

Any suggestions?

fleabay - search for Leupold and torx. It may be a dollar or two cheaper but you won't be saving a lot.

Careful, one time I ordered two screws from Glen and he shipped them in a box so big I thought he sent me a whole rifle

Next time i will make sure they are individually taped to a packaging peanut...in a huge box full of them

I too have been cursed with the big Seekins torx screws affliction. Good stuff
