Does anyone have a good source for these mags? I need one or two for hunting purposes and hope to not spend a CRAZY amount of money on them (I know they are expensive but it's the best option- just don't want to drop $200ea)

Thanks!

Get with Ty at MidwestPX (a site sponsor here on the Hide):

He makes modified Magpul LR20 PMAGs with limited capacities, including a 5rnd option. I use one for hunting and it has performed flawlessly! Also, Ty just posted earlier today or yesterday that he's working on a reduced length, cut-down 5rnd mag that will be available in the near future depending on how much of a hurry you are in.

Yeah I'm aware of those and I intend on buying some for bench/target shooting... but for some reason I've found the Pmags flatten the tip of Sierra GameKing bullets... considerably. The metal mags do not. So for hunting I want metal as I've not experienced this issue with Larue or DPMS mags

Thanks BCP- that may be the route I go- I know they are are lot cheaper than KAC

Yeah, that's why I bought 6. 15$ a pop and they work. They measure the same as DPMS mags too.

Is CA 5rd?

Anyway, if I can only have 5rds, I'd rather not have a ton of mag sticking out.

Thanks BCP- that is the route I'm going to go. Just responding to problemchild's post in reference to the CA blocked mags
