I know this comes up from time to time, didnt see anything recent. I am looking for large quantities of once fired .223/5.56 brass, I am talking like 80-100 thousand pieces. I am not quite ready to go to the mil surp auction route and buy 5000 lbs of brass. Diamond K brass sells 55 gallon drums for 4k which is a decent price(about 10c per). I would ideally like to be in the 8c range which I think should be do-able.

A 50 gal drum will hold about 40,000 pieces +/-. Your .02 difference is only about $800. You obviously have plans for 100,000 pieces of brass. The way the market is, suck up the $800 and get it.. Just my .02
Well the cheaper the better. That is money in my pocket with what I am going to do. I am seeing places I can get it for about a nickle a piece plus shipping making it about 6c a piece, but thats buying in like 2500 round increments. I would rather buy entire drums which, in theory, should be cheaper.
