anyone in ky that has some descent range at least to 600 love to find someone willing to get out and burn some powder.

Scott Mountain Range, Ft. Knox. 1000 yard KD Range, bermed every 100 yards to the 600 yd. line, CMP and NRA sanctioned matches.
Little bit of a pain right now dealing with Physical Security but still an absolutely GREAT range with a greater group of guys!
I personally invite you all to come and shoot with us! Call if you have any questions.

Next nearest is Oakridge TN. Very nice range with scoring pits, 3hrs from Pikeville. They shoot F-class, check their schedule out online..... http://orsaonline.org/

There's also NE Ky Fish and Game Club just outside of Ashland although that might be a bit far for you. They have out to a 500 yard range.

I go to school in Lexington, I'm at UK for a couple more years.
Ashland is where the parents live. I don't really call it home but I'm a member out at NE. I used to shoot trap out there a lot.
I'm from Carter County though and that's where my farm is. Come to think of it, I'll have to see what kind of range I can get out there. I don't have the skill to hit at 800 but I can probably shoot that far. I'll check it this weekend and find out how far it really is.
