Where are you located?
I have starting kayak fishing (sitting) and have gone from 7+' rods to 6'6" and now have two 5'6" rods that I really like using. I've been thinking about a custom rod in the 5'7 - 5'8" length in lieu of butt cutting a couple of my longer rods. Rod's with shorter handles seem to work best for me in the kayak.
