I placed an order with Southwest Ammunition about 2 weeks ago. They debited my account the same day I ordered, but when I check the status of my order it just says something like "being processed". It also says the order is too far along to edit the order or change anything.

What's a reasonable time for them to deliver ammunition I already paid for? I know the panic buying has caused mass havoc on even the most mundane firearm-related items, but two weeks after they already took my money seems to be stretching things.

Can someone shed some light on this conundrum for me?

Thanks ahead of time!

Re: Southwest Ammunition delivery time?

The time it took you to make the posting, you could have found this information first hand from SWA...Christie, I believe is the girl who answers the phone. All you have to do is make a phone call and you can get all the info you'll need.

Hint...All manufactures are running behind in producing ammunition in a timely manor due to order volume and supply for parts, this includes South West. They were having an issue getting powder, bullets and maybe primers over the past couple months.

My order was placed a month ago and is just now being delivered...expect similar delay. I know their web site indicates 2-4 weeks, depending on ammunition purchased but that accounts for in-stock items. What is not accounted for is the components they don't have due to failed deliveries.

You'll get your ammo, it will just take some time.
