I have a pile of stuff that seems to collect, it’s all from previous builds or projects that I know I will just need later. I finally decided to see what I could do with it, I had the rifle, stock, base, rings and scope hanging around “just in case”.
I think they made a pretty nice package. I still need to add M5 bottom metal (don’t have laying around) and an Atlas (the Atlas is on the way). But other than that it’s turned into a nice Franken-gun.

Like I said, I think I can put a fork this one with a Bagder M5 and an Atlas bipod. Can't wait to see how it shoots.
My logic is these parts were money spent months or years ago, so for the first time in my life I can answer my better half honestly with “nothing” when she asks what “that one cost”. Hopefully my logic is contagious with her....doubtful, but I can dream can't I?
By the way, it’s the top rifle in the photo. The bottom one is my Tikka T3 Tactical in 308, which is my go to for everything except big game.
