Spending a day out with the M40

Red skies in morning,,,,,,yada, yada, not today.....

1930s communists at least built nice shit. Our 2008 version gave us a skim coat of asphalt over all the highways and bought our shit box cars. Those cars are now crushed and the asphalt is peeling up. These old WPA projects were built well... French King Bridge over the Connecticut River....

when I looked south after taking that picture there was a Bald Eagle, recognizable by its white tails feathers flying off in the distance.

These are the fields we usually set the steel up in but due to a neighbor having his panties in a wad not happening today. We started with some .22 hiking.

Finally some centerfire shooting....

Friends rifle was an ADL cheapy from Dicks. We made it into a BDL, used a 1968 vintage varmint stock I had, picked up the Vortex, sling, bottom metal, swivels mounts on the Hide. Rifle came out looking good and shoots well too.

Targets were only max 130 yards due to the neighbor dispute....
