This Is a DD chf chrome lined 14.5 barrel from a urgi. It is unfired. I acquired this and was going to chop it down to a 13.7 or 13.9 but ended up going a different direction on the build. The threads are damaged from the pinned flash hider being removed. So it's a perfect candidate for a barrel chop. You could also use it as is if you want, muzzle devices screw on with no problem at all. Anyways I'm selling it cheap. 5.56. 1/7 twist. Already drilled for a geissele super gas block as well from the factory.

So if I understand correctly; a normal flash hider can be installed easily and will cover up the damaged threads??
If one decided to chop the barrel which gunsmith here would do that and re-thread for a muzzle device??

Lots of Smith's can chop and re-thread a barrel. But yes, you can thread a flash hider on and the damage will be covered. They thread on just fine
