For Sale to real Ladies and Men only, no other genders need apply, no gender fluid or non binary folks need apply. No pansies or commies allowed to purchase my firearms. I reserve the right to refuse to sell to anyone if I think you are a liberal idiot or a waste of oxygen on this earth (redundant several times, I know).
Ed Brown Special Forces II 1911 in .45 ACP
Manufactured 2013
Retail on these starts at $3500, so please no wamby pamby story about what a badass you are and how you got connections and can get a new one for $1200. Sell your fertilizer somewhere else, because I aint buying!!
Very good condition, exceptions from perfect noted below. I bought this used and then immeadiately got 3 nice 1911 pistols that have sentimental value (to go with the ones I already have), so no need for this too, as 1911's are target guns only for me.
Despite claims by some, the trigger is 100% original, its the 3 hole long trigger, per Ed Brown and I have the emails regarding this from Ed Brown. I will share all of these emails with any serious buyer so they know whats up.
For those wondering, it is the SF II and not just like the Special Forces they now have for sale due to a different texture on the front strap and mainspring housing that is no longer offered. This is a fairly aggressive texture (perfect to me) but apparently tender foot soy latte drinking with their pinky extended gun enthousiats didn't care of it.
Has a little scratch on the bottom of the dust cover. Had a little ding in the finish on the safety. Has a weird "spot" in the finish on the R side of the slide. There are pics showing all of these. I have sent a pic of the weird "spot" to Ed Brown and am awaiting a response as to if the finish is original (has been questioned) and if it is, the cost to refinish. Their CS has been great with questions, so expect that information very shortly and will update.
Night sights are still quite serviceable.
ETA: Ed Brown says finish is original from 2013 when pistol was made.
Can refinish to stainless or blued for $200, $400 for their fancy option.
Includes a nice Ed Brown carry case with 8 mag slots, ALL of which are filled with Ed Brown branded mags in excellent shape.
Includes a Galco high ride black gloss holster for the 5" 1911
Possible trades/partial trades for quality 6.5 Creed shouldered prefits for Origin or TL3, new Lapua 6BR brass, new Lapua .223 Rem brass.
Please No BS about your amazing frankengun AR and how many hits you say it will make at a mile with Wolf steel case ammo.
Discounts for local sales in CO or North Denver (AKA Cheyenne WY). They could be significant if I like you and you dont drive a Tesla and gloat about how great they are.
PS: All sales, even local and I like you, must adhere to all local laws. If shipped, it goes to your FFL.
Added to keep the idiots from whining, because it is literally all they are good at.
