I have for sale a used GAP M40A1 spec clone built by Mark Hall at GAP. Short of the newer serial number action and the black Cerakote (GAP does not black oxide these), everything else is to spec.
- Remington 700 clip slotted receiver
- Ground recoil lug
- McMillan HTG USMC spec stock with wichita sling swivels and red pachmayr pad
- Schneider M40A1 spec barrel, 12 twist
- Mod 70 Winchester trigger guard / floor plate
- Old style remington trigger modified per spec
The rifle has under 300 rounds on it and it does shoot like a GAP should. I did Krylon spray paint the rifle and did use it for hunting season last year. The Krylon has worn in areas but the Cerakote underneath is still in great shape minus a few rubbed off areas. Stock is also in great shape but has a nick on the left side. At the time of order, the repro mounts were not available so GAP installed a Badger Ordnance lugged 20MOA scope base that fits in the action clip slot. This rifle, new from GAP, will cost $4,400 with a healthy wait time.

I have a spare TMA repo unertl mount I can sell to the buyer for an additional $450 and a new spare USO MST-100 scope (from the most recent run) that I will sell to buyer for $2900.
