I've used the feeler guage/playing card method and it works fine.... Guess I'm just looking to blow money (ha).

If that shipping number is being automatically generated by their website, call or email them. Their actual shipping prices are typically very fair; I think I had a complete rifle shipped for not much more than the $22 number you've stated.

1" or lower buddy... I've got a complex about mounts that put my glass to high over the bore
