My AR15 is a complete Spikes Tactical. The fit between the upper and lower is nice and tight. I had them use a 1:7 twist Daniel Defense Barrel. Prone at 35 yds with 55 gr. 5.56 Federal I can put them allmost in one hole. The customer service is outstanding and they stand by thier product. They go to the Knob Creek Shoots. Target World in Cincinnati has a couple of thier lowers if you would like to see one before buying. I see that you are in Southgate Cookie, I am not far away from you.

I haven't shot with them, but I know the guys at Spike's very well and I know their quality.
Their SPR uppers have all of the parts and pieces that make up a good shooting upper. Their SPR barrels have a medium to heavy contour, 1:7 twist stainless match barrel. I think it uses a LW blank, but don't quote me on that.
I have handled the gun, and it feels nice as far as balance is concerned. I know they stand behind their guns, and if you bought it and it was not a shooter, they would take care of you.
