I’ve mounted a Spitfire HD Gen II 5x Prism Scope on an AR using a Picatinny rail and an American Defense quick-release mount. It’s currently set on the furthest back notch, but I find I have to move my head unnaturally far forward to eliminate the scope shadow. It’s not a major issue, but it would be great to achieve a more natural position without having to press so far forward on the stock.
The image is crisp and clear, so overall I’m happy with it. I’m just wondering if there’s a simple solution to adjust for this—or if it’s common for people to switch out certain optics because of this type of issue.
I’m new to the rifle world, so I appreciate any insights!
Thanks!
