Rifle Scopes SPR/DMR scope suggestions

First post so I hope it’s in the correct area.

Just put together a 6arc 18” SPR/DMR ish rifle. Looking to put a good scope on it to possibly get into some longer distance shooting training.

I was seeing the NF Atacr 4-16 FFP with the Tremor 3 reticle is a good option or would it be better to get the 4-20?

Also for the mount what would be the best Height over bore QD mount? I will be switching back and forth from thermal and this scope.

I read somewhere that the glass is better on the 20 than the 16.

6mm ARC is really a 1000 and under cartridge and for this the 4-16 will provide plenty of magnification in a sleeker profile with better turrets. 4-16 also has wider FOV at 4x than the 4-20 so if you plan to use at bottom mag this could be a benefit. The 4-16 has phenemenal glass so I wouldn't worry about it underperforming vs the 4-20. Nothing wrong with the 4-20 but for a gasser I like the 4-16x42 better.

Also, when you say switch with a thermal scope are you talking about swapping scopes or is your thermal a clipon? A mount in the 1.5" range will serve you well on a flattop gas gun, you can go higher if you will often be in less than ideal shooting positions and want some more freedom behind the scope but you just need to get one and train and if height becomes a hindrance you can change it up. Reptilia makes excellent mounts for snag free, Badger C1 and Geissele mounts are good, if you want QD I recommend Spuhr.

I have an Atlhon Midas BTR 2.5-15 on my 20" SPR and reallu like it. I prefer SFP because I like the reticle to be the same size throughout the power range.
