Springfield Armory Saint Victor in 308

Brand new to Sniper's Hide and new to this forum. If there is another thread that I haven't found yet, please steer me there.

Has anyone any experience in the SA Saint 308 pistol? Will the shorter 10.3" barrel in 1:10 handle subsonic loads well enough?

I know just about every gun in the Springfield Saint line has had nothing but problems. I know someone who purchased one and had jamming problems and had to send it back for repair. Seems to be common.

While I have not had any experience with the 308 version. I have had some bad experiences with their 5.56 Saint model. Have had to send several back for not cycling properly out of the box. 2 were under gassed, gas block and or ports were canted and not aligned.

I'm aware of the Springfield political issues from a couple years back. I've owned a Saint and a Saint Edge in 556. Both picked up used and were flawless... i'd love to get the 16" victor 308. Sorry OP,, can't comment on subs in the pistol.
