Hello everyone, new member here, but long time follower of Sniperhide.
So I have a springfield armroy waypoint in 7prc with the BSF Carbon barrel, when I first got the rifle, had it zeroed in 12 rounds and it was shooting .269 inch 3 round group at 100 yards. Then I took it to 902 yards and shot about a 5inch 3 round group.
I had a Profesional gunsmith local to me, who builds custom bolt guns and had a dead air muzzle device put on. Then took it out to rezero with muzzle device and suppressor. After about 10 more rounds the gun suddenly opened up and I can not get it to shoot under 2-3inch groups.
I have a nightforce nx8 with the tremor 3 reticle, in an ADM mount. Everything is torqued correctly and not lose. Does anyone have any idea why it would suddenly open up. I have been chasing a zero for about 80 rounds now, with a total of 112 rounds down the barrel.
