Got tired of not shooting and decided to put a few rounds downrange today with my SPS Tactical. I still have less than 500 rounds through the tube. I am shooting the 69gr SMK in basically un-prepped Lake City brass that I picked up from the range, backed by Reloader 15, and ignited by a CCI SR primer.
At 100 it did pretty decently averaging just over 1/2 MOA for the groups. By the time I made it back to the 200 the wind had picked up a bit and was swirling. I did get one group that was right at 1", but the average was at .8 MOA.
I want to rebarrel this rifle to make a .223AI knock off of an M40A1, but right now I'm having a bit too much fun to start in the project. I've already got the stock, and have an ST-10 in the mail (as close as I can afford).
Here it is at 100yds
Here is the rig.
