Rifle Scopes Spuhr isms and US optics

Any one have an USO st-10 mounted in the Spuhr isms one piece
mount ? I put these together last night and the front loop just clears between the objective and the turret housing. could the repeated recoil from a 308 damage
A scope if the ring is in contact with the objective bell and the turret housing ?

Any thoughts and or concerns ?
