I actually wasn’t aware there were different versions. What’s the difference in them?

I think they are referring to the V1 for the traditional R700 foot print with normal firing pin cocking travel while the v2 has clearance for a lower firing pin cocking travel i.e. custom actions like Terminus, Surgeon, Defiance, etc.
