Anybody using one of these mounts?? It’s the one I want but not sure if it will work with my Steiner T5XI, due to possibly my turret housing hitting the bridge on the bottom side- any help is would be great, also I have a 20 MOA rail on the gun, and I’m using ARC mediums which are basically exactly the same height as this mount.. just throwing that out there

I used one with a athlon Cronus and it was close but it fit between the turrets. Also used it with a Razer gen1 it was also close. I don't think the t5 turrets are bigger than either of those... From what I understand the gen2 Razer won't fit or depending on who you ask will fit but can't use the leveling thing...Maybe call Mile High I know they sell alot of Spuhr mounts.

I have two of them with XRS2s in them. I'll second the suggestion to call Mile High, as they should be able to tell you about the fit. You could also look at the 4001, which is .079" taller, and might give you the clearance needed if the 4011 is a touch too short.

Good info, yeah ill call Mile High for sure.. The 4001 is basically 1/16” more height wise, which I’m not against at all, but it doesn’t have that extra clamp screw enabling you to cantilever, and still have 4 clamping screws.. My problem is my scopes are always further forward than everybody else’s and i start running out of rail space.. Maybe I should put a longer rail on it, but I don’t want to, cuz buying the Spuhr is gonna be painful enough?

Arent new extended scope bases cheaper than new scope mounts?

Unless you have an integrated action
Yes.. I’ve wanted a Spuhr for 3 yrs now tho, and in order to make the temptation go away I’m just gonna give in.. I was just hoping how beefy the Spuhr is and how I run my scope, I wouldn’t have to buy both

they make great mounts, but it might be cheaper to run an extended picatinny rail base attached to the action

then you can use the mounts you currently have... but farther forward. unless I'm misunderstanding something

have never used their action/picatinny rail but will in a week or two; their scope mount is great, though $120 Seekins rings hold zero just as well; I like the NF unimounts as well, though like seekins not fast or easy to mount

the ARC M10 & Spuhr just make scope mounting super fast and easy.

I did talk to Mile High, super good guys.. I’m going with the SP-4001, and apparently all Spur mounts have 5 clamp screws now.. unless they always have ??‍♂️ I’m still learning the confusing world of Spuhr

Mine has 6. That one should be easy to resell give the specs on it. Congrats!

(PM me if you don't like it and want to get rid of it cheap) HAHAHA!!!
6 screws?? Sweet, these dang Spuhrs have had me so confused. I think I got it figured out tho.. Anyways, I have not ordered one yet, my finger is on the trigger tho.. I was hoping one could pop up in the PX.. I roger what you said in your earlier posts, tho, and I appreciate it

When you do your scope height calculations, leave more than 5 mm

Or more of daylight between the top the roof scope rail or barrel and the bottom of your objective

If using a 56mm, u could always get the 1.35” version too 0/0

You will NOT be disappointed in the Spuhr Mount. I know they are a bit tough to swallow in the beginning, but they are HELL BENT for strong.
Also, with so many torx bolts on them, you really spread out the clamping force. That 25 in lbs is spread out over a larger area.
I have shot my AI in several matches, banged into barricades, it has ridden in backpacks, etc. NEVER a hint at moving or shifting.
When you’re using a $3000 optic on a $4000 rifle, what’s another $400-$450 for a solid, peace of mind mount?

That’s what I tell myself anyway. ??

I’m looking to get one eventually for a Leupold Mk6,i’m sure it will, maybe someone can confirm?
I’ve got two Spuhrs,& whilst I agree on them being bombproof,I don’t think they just look good, rather they (to me at least) are unobtrusive & blend the scope & rifle in such a manner that I don’t even notice them,
