I threw out all my Spuhr boxes but if I remember correctly they came with a printed insert that said that for ZCO glass they recommend just torquing the bottom half of the ring cap entirely to spec and then doing the top half. This leaves you with a mismatched gaps but according to those instructions that'll still provide the proper torque.
I've been installing all my Spuhr mounts and rings like that ever since I read those added instructions, because it's much quicker and simpler than trying to X-pattern and keeping spaced gaps. A friend of mine swears up and down that is the wrong way to go about installing Spuhr mounts.
Anyone have a recently purchased Spuhr box around with that ZCO-specific instruction insert in it that could verify or take a picture?
EDIT: Ah nevermind, found one in the closet.
