SR25 Optics

Finally pulled the trigger on a SR25 ACC. Im now looking for an optic to match it for more of a DMR/Target roll out to 500 yards. It will be used primary to hit steel with sizing down to 8" gongs. Budget is $1500

Currently have a NF NX8 but wanted a little more zoom.

Can get a Leupold Mark 6 with the CMRW 7.62 reticle for roughly $1500. I like the size/weight of this and the BDC matches up PERFECTLY with 168gr load i would be using.

Any other suggestions?

I always say there's no reason to not buy a Razor Gen2-if you don't mind the weight-but since the Mk 6 is literally half the weight I'd say you'd mind it

I had a NF 4-16x42 with the Mil-R on my SR25 and it was a great match for it. Sold it only because a really unusual SB became available and that’s what’s on there now.

Those NFs can be had for ~$1500 or so in the PX. Can’t recall any specific scope with a BDC like the CMR2 and more magnification if the BDC is a must-have.

Had the Nightforce 1-8 ATACR, sold and went to a NF 4-16x50 Mil-C. Using the 4016 Spuhr mount, it makes a great package.
