I'm looking for someone to fab a custom forend that will allow me to run an Amtac over the barrel suppressor on a 16" barrel tucked. The factory forend has just under 1.5" interior diameter, I need a forend that has at least 1.64" clearance for the suppressor to seat.

Can anyone recommend a shop?

TIA,

Alamo

Would it be feasible to cut the bottom 3 rails off a full length fore end so I would have the top rail for a clip on? I think it would clear a silencer. I don't know how you sound install it after that though.

The problem is that you still have to remove material from underneath the top rail, at least to fit the Amtac. Put away the Sawzall bro. :D

Following! Hopefully this will lead to an MDR type style suppressor fore end that allows a rails to go around the suppressor. I'm dreaming, most likely since the top rail is already close to the barrel... maybe small calibers...
