Rifle Scopes SS 5x20 owners a question

Just got my scope and I feel a slight clicking when switching directions with the parallax knob. Like there is a bit of slack or the knob is not tight. You push one direction firmly and then switch directions and it pops or clicks almost like the turret mil click. I also seem to have illumination reticle bloom at all levels above 4 or 5 and I can just barely see the red dot at 4 or 5. My eyes are not 20 years old anymore, fyi.

Is anyone else able to duplicate this? I wanted to mount my scope but I think I will wait now until I call SWFA in the AM (bummer). Is this normal? I did not feel this "slack" in the NF's I was looking at.

Mine does not have any clicking on the parallax knob at all. There is some light bleed above level 7 or so on mine though. SWFA will make it right.

As far as the bloom in the illumination as well as not being able to see it, is this in total darkness? Remember, this isn't a CQC scope, the illumination isn't necessarily meant to be daylight visible.

I "might" have heard a click when going from bottomed out up, very minor on one of them....no big deal.

Really, mount it up, stuff is moving in there (it is mechanical), see how it works. Probably no big deal, SWFA will take care of you, mounted up or not.

I wouldn't worry about it unless it shows itself to be an issue.

Does the NF 3x15 F1 have the reticle bloom as well in low light? Mine is doing it on level 5 which I think is the first non-NV level.
