Re: St. George, Utah shooters?
When I get a LRF in hand again and the time to WALK the new direction we have to shoot now (stupid bicycle trails they added last year I guess), there's some BLM land where we can get to a thousand easy.
The area is now closed to vehicles, but the BLM was kind enough to put a nice gate in the fence, about 60 yards down from our firing point. Think of it as a short ladder.
Otherwise, it's the Rifle & Pistol range near the fairgrounds, with 200 yards and they (Red Cliffs Rifle & Pistol, currently operating that part of it) are looking for ways and ultimately funding to go out to 600.
