I bought 1k of the range ammo. Zero issues with it. It is a little overpriced relative to other options, but I had zero malfunctions, compared to Freedom ammo which was cheaper (~24 cents a round v about 30 for the staccato) but had several rounds with significant defects.
I can see the value of a subscription if they can make good on availability in time of shortage and keep the price from spiking.
Edit: I initially subscribed to the ammo, which is how I got the 30 cents/round price. If you just buy 1k it is 35 cents a round.
