I am building a Ruger 10-22 for my daughter and she wanted the rifle to be "blue". I am not ready to Cerakote the receiver/barrel, etc. but thought I might try to stain a stock for her. I am using a Wood Plus youth stock that is the standard brown wood color like this:
I was hoping to give it a blue tint and let the grain show through still. Here is a pic similar to what I am shooting for:
Does anyone know what type of material (stain, etc.) should be used?
