Starting a build

After reading lots of posts here I have decided to have a 260 built on a 700 action. Ordered a Lilja HV ss with a 1:8 twist. Will have it finished to 24" with the end threaded and a thread protector installed for now as I want to get a suppressor some time down the road. Ordered a B&C Tactical Medalist A5 with standard BM, maybe CDI DBM later on. As far as optics it will be a SS 16x42. Hope to pick up a new Vortex PST later if the funds allow. I'll work up a load using 140gr SMK HPBT, Remington brass and a powder TBD (RL15, RL17 or IMR4350). I plan on shooting at the monthly matches in Ranton, NM

Now the wait game. I'll get before and after pictures posted ASAP.

Sounds like a fun project. Who is building it for you or are you doing the work yourself? My preference for a stock is a McMillan A5, but that's just personal preference.
