We got to air out the toys a few days ago. Conditions were a little rough..20F with a 12 to 15 mph cross wind. We shot: .338LM, .308 Warbird, 7MM WSM, 2,.308s,and a 6XC. The Lapua pretty much put everything else in its place the way the wind was blowing...put about 400 rounds downrange!! Shot steel plates at 800M and rocks out to 1200 meters.

Man that is a rough looking crew there now!!! I see 5 Surgeon actions, 5 McM stocks, 5 GAP builds, 6 S&B's, a vector, a geovid, a ultravid, and 3 Zeiss spotters...where the hell is the partidge in a pear tree? I think you could say we were humbled just a little by someones .338LM, I won't mention any names.

Pat, you need a vector that goes further out for that gear. Of course you know why Pat...I got first dibs!

Where are the Lopes? What did you guys kill?

Re: Steel @ 800 Meters

Some guys have all the fun (and equipment). Nothing better than shooting with good friends and good equipment. I'll bet the 338LM did shine in those conditions.
