I have recently purchased my 1st ar-15 rifle, DPMS Panther. I was shooting Wolf ammunition which was steel-cased and after only 6 rounds the rifle jammed w/ a live round in the receiver. I was able to extract the round w/ help from DPMS's tech's over the phone. They said not to use the steel cased rounds due to the rust-resistant "resin" clogging up the gun. Does anyone know the best way to clean this "resin" from the upper receiver? Will bore cleaner alone do the trick?

Have you tried SilverBear? They're supposed to be some kind of coated alluminum/alloy casing.

I'm not a big fan of Wolf in .223, the red primer sealant flakes off and gets under my ejector.
