Does anyone have any experiences using the Steiner m7xi 2.9-20?
- How does it compare to the competition?
- One slight issue with the m5xi 5-25 that I’ve read and experienced is that on high magnifications (>20) the CA (chromatic aberration) was more pronounced than some of it competition like the S&B PMII or the ZP5 but less than the Kahles.
- I’ve read the m7xi series seemed to have reduced some of the CA that could be seen with the m5xi.
- That said, can anyone speak to this?
- Is there a noticeable decrease in CA at high magnification in the m7xi series, specifically with the 2.9-20, vs the m5xi 5-25?
- Also, how is the depth of field and contrast with it?
- Lastly, any other pertinent info you can share would be appreciated as I have found little detailed review info on this scope in my searches. Most of the reviews are of a cursory nature and I am looking for more detail, depth and substance.
Thanks so much for all your help and input!
