Hello folks -

Sterk has their excellent Swept Ball Bolt Handle for the Quad in stock right now, so if you're interested email Jon Van der Pol at [email protected] to secure your's before this batch runs-out. As of 5/1 he had 17 in stock, but who knows when the next batch will be made after these run-out.

For those unfamiliar with Sterk's Quad Swept Ball Bolt Handle, the Handle is machined from 431 Stainless while the Adapter and the Ball are machined from T6 6061 aluminum. It has to be the most highly engineered, well-executed rimfire bolt handle assembly ever designed. The machining, fit, and finish are flawless but the money is the way the Swept Ball feels in-hand and enhances bolt manipulation. But enough fluff.

Sterk Swept Ball Bolt Handle (Sniper Grey Handle, Graphite Black Ball) on my euroOptic Sako Quad Special Edition:

I thought I was the only one crazy enough to have a sako quad Europtic Build with a Schmidt and Bender 5- 25

Nah, that just means you have excellent taste in rimfires and scopes! Beautiful Quad, BTW. It looks like your A5 has the KMW ACH, too. The A5 with KMW ACH and 10" Anschutz Rail is my favorite McMillan stock, but my SE came with the A3 w/KMW ACH (which I sent back to McMillan to add the 10" Anschutz Rail and a pair of LS Flush Cups. I'd love to have an A5 KMW ACH, but I can't see spending another $1,000.00+ for another stock + bedding.

What number is your SE? Mine is #6.

It’s kind of hard to see but it’s #4 my picture taking skills are lacking.

I also had no luck getting a hold of sterk last year (which is odd because several years ago he was very responsive to emails when I ordered some Tikka parts.) I had about given up until I noticed Euro Optic had 10 in stock, so I bought 2 for both of my quads.

They're out of stock now, but the website says they can be backordered... you may want to check with Euro Optic to see if they have any on order with Sterk (if they've been able to get a hold of them) and when they expect them in.

Not sure what's going on with Sterk exactly. Last time he posted on this forum was about a year ago, and his user profile doesn't show the last date he was logged in. Both his Instagram and Facebook pages look like they haven't been updated in over a year as well.

But if Euro says they have some on order, maybe they have a way of getting in touch... keep your fingers crossed. I figured I was never going to be able to buy them since Sterk wasn't returning my emails or PMs, but then that batch showed up on Euro Optic.
