A long shot but does anyone have one, shot one? Much like all things steyr info is scarce. I already scoured the internet for all I could find, hopeful someone here has laid hands on one.

Just picked her up, can't wait to try her out!

I ordered through V1 Tactical, they're running 20% sale on all things Steyr, I'll have to take some better pics tomorrow, these were at the gun store as I was filling out paperwork.

If you ever decide you don’t like that chassis, I’ll take it off your hands for my SSG-04. I won’t hold my breath.
Don't think she'll fit, the receiver assembly is totally different from the sbs group but i believe the manners stock will. The chassis really is neat, soooo much adjustability, mind blowing!

You’ve shattered a dream! Looking more for the folding feature.
What is the real world weight of the rifle?

My favorite ELR rifle in .338 LM versus custom MPA 6.5CM with Defiance action or Cadex Tremor (.50BMG). Very comfortable, softer recoiling rifle to shoot even over a 12-hour training day in Finger, TN with TeamMAYBE--nearly as comfortable as the SSG-08 in .308 which I've shot a mile. Highlight was a cold-bore waterline hit at 1204 yds @ KM Precision's range with factory ammo. In my experience, Steyr rifles seem to not be very finicky with off-the-shelf ammo, grouping nicely even with hunting loads--C.I.P. chambering maybe? Need more data points.
