Steyr SSG69 Trigger LOP Question

Maybe someone here can answer this question.
I have a Steyr SSG69 with the double-set triggers bedded in a McMillan stock.
Turns out it is a long reach from the grip to the front trigger, and this causes a less than optimum hand position when gripping the stock.
Does anyone know if it is less of a reach* if the trigger is swapped out to single trigger unit?
(* a shorter LOP)

Can't help ya with the LOP measurement question as I have a double set trigger on my SSG69. Perhaps experimenting with different grips will help:

A new single SSG69 trigger will cost you $500+, if you can find one........

I can tell you that the single trigger is a tad further to the rear of what you would call maybe the front strap of the pistol grip than the double set is. I have the double set on mine, and I find it hard to manipulate too, and looked into this as well. I was just looking into just buying a whole new rifle with the single trigger as spare parts for these rifles are pretty much non existant now.
